I told her to travel. Hands down. No excuse. Just go.

“Yeah, but…”
Never were more fatal words spoken.
Yeah, but… what about debt?Yeah, but… what about my job?Yeah, but… what about my boyfriend (or dog or car or whatever)?
“Yeah, but…” is pernicious. Because it makes it sound like we have the best of intentions when really we are just too scared to do what we should.
It allows us to be cowards, while sounding noble."

Quando temos a sensação que está aqui escrita a história da nossa vida, aquilo que queremos fazer, o que respondemos para dizer que não podemos... Não sei se me insiro ainda na faixa dos "novos", mas se há uma coisa que gostava era de pegar numa mochila e ir. Durante um mês ou um ano... Como já disse aqui há uns tempos, gostava que voltássemos ao tempo do João da Ega do Eça, e acabar o curso para ir dar a volta ao mundo e arredores..
